We will use the remote controlled cars as part of a Project Based Learning activity. Almost all of our students have a cellphone. Cellphones have become an extremely important tool in our students' lives, and they all know the frustrations of needing to use their phone when they have little to no reception. The students will test a variety of materials to see how they interfere with the wave frequency of the remote controlled car. This should emulate the interference of cell phone frequencies by the different types of materials in a building, vehicle etc.
