The items for my project will be used to teach my special education students job skills, social skills, and skills within the community. We will use the social skills flashcards to learn about different social situations and how to navigate through these scenarios. My social skills class currently does not have any resources that allow my students to be exposed to these various scenarios. We will be using the seeds in my science class and my vocational training class. In science, my students will learn about the life cycle of these plants and will grow them under laboratory conditions. In my vocational training class, my students will use these seeds to plant gardens at the school to learn teamwork and community skills. The digital scanner will allow our class to be able to adapt to any potential educational scenario by providing a digital option for all my assignments to my students.
