This project will help my students by providing the necessary supports for them in the classroom during math. Math manipulatives are important for students to have a visual understanding of the concepts they are learning. Ideas exist in children's minds, and manipulatives help them construct an understanding of ideas that they can then connect to mathematical vocabulary and symbols. Math manipulatives build students' confidence by giving them a way to test and confirm their reasoning. The use of manipulatives helps students hone their mathematical thinking skills. The effective use of manipulatives can help students connect ideas and integrate their knowledge so that they gain a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
