Whether we like it or not, computers are needed in the classroom. These iPads will put students in touch with thousands of online books, interactive lessons, STEM activities and allow them to venture on virtual field trips. With the flick of their wrist, experts can be consulted, questions can be answered, and the wonders of the world can be showcased right into our classroom. Covid has taught many things but it has shown me that computer-supported learning is vastly important in various subject areas and that it allows students to read, investigate, and explore what interests them in a safe way. Since the pandemic unfolded, students as well as teachers have needed to adapt and overcome various challenges. These devices will help me, as an educator, to excite and engage my entire class. My students will be able to participate in research, utilize tech-based learning, enrich their understanding with interactive videos and lessons, and further their connection with Nevada's core standards. As a teacher, my funds are limited and being able to provide my students with the best tech options available, is a real challenge. Please assist me in embracing the change and get my kids the help they need!
