Many of my students ride the bus and can't come in before school or after school for extra help because there's no time. Therefore, lunch is the only chance they get. By providing them with a healthy snack while they get the help they need in order to be successful in my class will go a long way in their education. Also, some of my kids need me to print out assignments for them that are more hands-on than what's a computer screen, not just for my class but for others and we're constantly running out of paper in my classroom. Having enough snacks and paper this year will help my students and me focus on learning and teaching.
