These supplies will help enable us to turn our class into a semi-blended classroom. I plan to teach the main instructional content in small groups. Another group of students will have the benefits of digital resources through Clever and Canvas. The third group will benefit from the rich resources provided in this project. The different levels and activities will provide both individual practice and small group work that can be done together yet at a small social distance. The Splash sets and word family flip books can help some of my friends learn the phonics foundations that will help them become fluent readers (RL3.3). The reading comprehension cards and main idea central message cards will aid some other friends to understand and comprehend what they are reading(RI3.1). The building fluency card bank will help create a love of reading that can foster a lifelong passion of reading to learn. The Allowance Game and the Math Quiz cards will create an engaging addition for our friends to practice their math skills (3.OA.C.7). These resources will be placed into plastic sheeting to protect them and to easily sanitize them between students. These resources can be used group after group and year after year to foster engagement and learning. Thank you for considering this project.
