Students are much more engaged in science education when they can explore science through hands-on laboratory activities. These labs will enhance instruction for Nevada Academic Content Standards in Science, including HS-LS2-1, HS-LS2-2 and HS-LS3-3. By providing hands-on lab experiences with experiments and hands-on simulations with manipulatives, I hope to peak my students' interest, and get them away from their screens and asking questions and engaging in class discussions about science topics. Students will have the opportunity to step away from the technology they have been so reliant on, and use their critical thinking skills.

About my class
