The beauty of Nearpod, especially now, is in both its flexibility and accessibility. Kids are able to access the same content whether they are in the class or stuck at home, so they do not need to fall behind for quarantine or illnesses. Kids are able to collaborate, read, write, discuss, draw, reflect, review all on one integrated platform that makes it easy to cut down on 1) physical contact with materials 2) physical contact with other kids 3) and printing time, costs, and resources. This tool also allows kids to get practice writing on a computer versus by hand, which we can all see is more relevant and valuable to their futures than pen or pencil, and as a teacher, I can see their work in real time in a centralized place, which allows more efficient and effective feedback than, say, toggling through 80 Google Docs.
