My AP students are in need of various supplies to give them the ability to synthesize materials, experiment with techniques, and create original works of art. Many of my 2D students have a strong desire to experiment with alcohol-based markers to better achieve gradation effects within their works of art. Students will be able to also use hot glue to aid in adding 3D embellishments to canvas to show a wider range of flexibility and artistic ability. Students will then be able to utilize the stylus if needed to edit artwork digitally into its final stage. During the COVID shut down most of my students struggled significantly and nearly all of them longed to be back in the classroom where real art supplies were available to them that were not at home. Now that we are back in the classroom it is my goal to ensure that my students have all that they need but also desire in order to build their confidence and allow them to create their best artworks possible. My students deserve to have these materials available to them so that they can better achieve their artistic goals. VA HS 1.3, VS HS 2.5
