This school year, I have 22 students in my class. Students are currently spread 3-6 feet apart due to Covid-19 restrictions. These restrictions put students in every nook-and-cranny of the classroom making it difficult for them to interact and follow me during whole-group lessons. When teaching, students sitting the back of the classroom have trouble seeing and hearing me, due to the fact that I am sitting at a desk in the front of the room using a document camera and laptop. Students in the middle and back of the room often struggle to make eye contact with me which makes it difficult to check for understanding and monitor behavior. By donating to this project, you will not only help improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help increase student achievement. In 3rd grade, students learn through extensive teacher modeling, rich-structured conversations, and continual exposure to the digital world. This project will support my students learning by ensuring all lessons are cognitively engaging and interactive. It will also ensure that students continue to develop positive social and behavioral habits.
