The use of the kitchen is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math and life skills. Using the kitchen items requested, students will get hands on experiences in the kitchen. The baking set and pots and pans will allow me and my paraprofessionals to teach our students life skills in a hands on environment. With our students being at home more due to the pandemic these life skills are being used more frequently. The students will be able to choose simple recipes to cook and share with their friends. The best way for students to learn is to do it, my students can't wait to get into the kitchen to whip something up!
