Our classroom needs electronic dictionaries and Spanish books. The electronic dictionaries will help students look up words and hear their correct pronunciation. Electronic dictionaries contain more words than their paper counterparts, are portable, and save students precious time they can spend on practicing speaking, reading, and writing. The Spanish books and the electronic dictionaries will expand students’ literacy skills, help them became independent learners, and boost their confidence in using the target language. Also, having diverse collection of books, of different reading levels, and perspectives will allow more students to find books that suit them best and that they can identify with. Language learning teaches my students patience, empathy and encourages them to develop a deep appreciation for diversity. Your generous donations will enrich and positively impact my students’ language learning journey. Thank you in advance for your time and support.
