As a first year teacher during a pandemic times have been very hard for my students and I. Schools have suffered tremendously with budget cuts. These cuts are limiting the ESSENTIAL supplies teachers need. Every classroom in this school has a printer but now there is an issue purchasing ink. My first graders are so happy to be back in the classroom ready to learn! Most of my students are new to the country and I want to be able to provide necessary resources like handouts, visuals, and books for emergent readers. As a teacher I am constantly printing strategy charts, and resources to help my students. By having the necessary ink and paper for our classroom printer I will be able to continue to print everything from pages to practice hand writing, readers, phonics sheets, to working on fine motor skills of cutting, and gluing. everything in between. Having ink will allow me to meet the individual needs of my students. Please help these young eager learners continue to succeed by donating to our ink project!
