Our school physical education department is in the process of creating a fitness lab to meet the needs of all our students. Our progressive and developmentally appropriate curriculum ensures that students with varying abilities are able to participate to the best of their capabilities. The exercise mats will be used for in-class instruction and available for students in our educational settings as students' needs permit. The mats will aid students' abilities to participate more fully in the established fitness programs with a higher quality of movement. The mats will create a welcoming, safe, and challenging environment in which students engage in and enjoy physical activity. Our students need adequate protective equipment to ensure the personal safety of every student. More and more, educators in all subject areas are viewing physical education as an essential element in any school curriculum designed to educate the whole child.
