The students in my class are in need of items that can help grow social skills. My students are struggling with working with others, sharing, and independence in the classroom. With items like a Doctor's Office, Building Workshop, and Grocery Store, students will have to learn how to play together in constructive, purposeful play. The Kindergarteners in my class this year have had a huge impact on social and emotional skills from lack of exposure to other children due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of these children do not have siblings and have not been in a daycare setting. They are struggling with appropriate play and the items that I am asking for will require students to work and play together.
