My students are in a self contained classroom and besides having learning disabilities they tend to have troubles focusing and sustaining attention for short periods of time let alone the long periods of time that is required in school. They have social skills issues on top of everything else that causes complications and prevents them from being accepted which tends to be what most adolescents want the most. In this uphill battle that these students seem to go through during their school years the one thing I can give them is a way to build their confidence and engage their interesting to make learning fun and easy for them. This can be done through interactive learning and playing games which they love!
