After 18 months of learning from home, students have forgotten how to school. If I'm being quite honest, some teachers have too! Supplies for the high school Algebra 1 and Geometry classroom are vital for students to become engaged with the material. I am trying to ensure every student in every seat in my classroom has access to every supply they need each day. Pencil pouches will be attached to the chairs and filled with necessary supplies for students to use if they don't have them for themselves. Students learning exponential growth and decay in algebra 1 need calculators to figure out how simple and compound interest work. The real-world applications of starting a bank account, buying a car, or getting a loan are things that all high school students should be able to access and understand. My goal is to make math accessible to all students, and I'm hoping these supplies help do that!
