The Scholastic News will provide an opportunity for students to explain events, procedures, ideas, or concepts in a historical, scientific, or technical text, including what happened and why, based on specific information in the text (ELA 4.RI.3) The multiplication game will give students an engaging opportunity to practice their multiplication skills (MATH 4.NBT.B.5) The multicultural books will add to my multicultural Social Studies lessons (SS 4.15-19) Finally, the social emotional writing prompts will allow me to engage with those students who may need extra help with their mental and emotional health (ME.4.1-2).
