Every child enjoys playing games! I love to work with my students in small groups as it gives me a chance to give the kids more attention and more help. While I work with the small groups, the other students will be completing independent work, using technology, and playing these games. The board games that I have selected will help reinforce academic skills. My goal is to create a caring classroom community with the help of these board games. The games will strengthen my students' relationships with each other and also increase my students' brain function. Games teach people to set goals and to be patient. They also help with reducing stress and often promote laughter. Unfortunately due to Covid and distance learning, these are all things that my students need to learn. Luckily, games make it fun to learn these things! I would like the games to last a while, so I have included a laminator and supplies to help protect the game cards. Future classes will also use these games.
