Students who have the knowledge, skills, and confidence can enjoy physical activity for a lifetime. All students have a right to a well-rounded education which includes high quality and standards aligned Physical Education. Lessons should include positive experiences that will encourage all students to be physically active now and into adulthood. At this time, my school does not have any bowling supplies. The Nevada Academic Content Standards which will be addressed through a bowling unit relate to Manipulatives and Establishing Healthy Activity Patterns and Values. (PE 1.2.2, PE 1.5.2. PE 3.2.2, PE 3.5.2) This unit will give students (especially those who have never been bowling) the opportunity to experience an activity that they could continue as an adult. These materials will remain in the school and offer years of fun learning for all of our students.
