I have used many Jack Hartman letter and sound videos in the past. These videos are so helpful for my students who are struggling to remember letter sounds. By using the videos during small group instruction at the small reading table, the other students will be able to focus on their work. Additionally, I use the Jamboard app that allows students to manipulate pictures and words. My students need a touchscreen to use the app effectively. Standard RF.1.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. Using a touchscreen for the Nearpod App in a touchscreen format would be very beneficial to students to use their fine motor skill while learning their letters and sounds.
