The materials are important because it encompasses learning in our classroom across all the curriculum covered in transition. The chromebooks serve as tools for learning and accessibility for students that benefit immensely from technological assistive devices. The chromebooks will be used to help student's track their IEP goals, do assignments, build resumes, write cover letters, and apply for jobs. The chromebooks are a basic technological tool that connect young adults with disabilities to the world beyond their urban community. The chromebooks will be used in the classroom and home for some students who lack the resources to acquire technological devices. Our class is heavily dependent on technology in order to have our students participate in our tech-oriented world.
