Many of our students have grown up in a school system that lacks access to quality music programs. Through our after-school music club, we will provide students with a place to learn valuable skills, build self-confidence, and express themselves in a manner that goes beyond the core curriculum. This program is something my students have been asking to create for years, but the funding has never been there. This DonorsChoose project is the best way to give back to the student community and provide them with a resource that has been severely lacking in NYC.

About my class
