These materials will allow the students to engage in STEM building activities in the classroom. We will be able to construct electrical circuits with motors and lights to power their creations. These can include cars, airplanes, helicopters or what ever their imagination can invent. The LEGO sets will allow them to construct many different LEGO contraptions that teach about simple machines and their properties. The Tape and cardstock paper will allow us to construct paper roller coasters that are part of a physics unit on force and motion. These STEM activities will motivate the students and teach science concepts at the same time.
