The books will be used for in-class learning. I meet with my students weekly for 30 minutes and we will read this book together during that time. We look forward to creating projects that are aligned with the learning students gain from the text. While the main focus is the theme of kindness, I will align instruction with the VA SOLs and the topics students are learning about in the general education classroom. By funding this project each student will have his or her own text to read from, which means no sharing.
