I have an amazing group of first graders that deserve the best education possible. I am a first year teacher, with many new ideas on how I can get my students excited about learning, and engaged in classroom activities. With my many ideas, comes many supplies that are needed to make it all happen! These supplies will bring academic content to life through creative expression. The bulletin letters and boarders will enable me to create a sound wall, where my students can refer to the sounds on a daily basis in order to enhance their reading and writing. With the recent year of virtual learning, due to the pandemic, my first graders need extra encouragement to focus on basic phonic skills. The additional supplies such as the timer, dice, and white boards will allow me to have students actively participate in collaborative learning, as well as individual response. Finally, the desk pets, play dough, and paints will help motivate my students to work hard, and will reward them for their achievements.
