Reading proficiency is the hallmark of education. The Edmark Reading Program will help my students to become successful readers when all they have experienced in the past is frustration and failure. This program will enable my students - especially those with Dyslexia - to finally overcome their disability and become readers just like their friends. This program is sequential with a lot of repetition for greater student success. As the students progress through the program they are able to read phrases then sentences and finally stories. They are able to take materials home to practice and the stories will go home with them as well. Imagine the excitement when they are able to read to their parents!

About my class
