We are so lucky to be able to offer students opportunities for creative arts therapies, yet are in need of some specialized tools to let these makers-make. Art Therapy is a process of developing an individual's cognitive processing, sensorimotor functions, emotional regulation, while building self awareness and self esteem through the exploratory use of various art media. In weekly art therapy groups, students are guided in use of sensory art experiences, lead by a registered art therapist. I am in search of adaptive tools to assist these young artists in feeling confident, able and successful in their artmaking. Adaptive art making tools help individuals overcome challenges when gripping/accessing supplies to improve fine and gross motor functions. With gratitude to your giving heart.
