The use of headphones and STEAM supplies are a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math and science. Before Covid-19, we had headphones and STEAM bins that each student could share and work with collaboratively. Covid-19 protocols have made collaborative use of these materials impossible for the time being. Consumables for these bins are expensive to refurbish for each student so this has made STEAM learning strained for this school year. The use of headphones and STEAM bins will help teach many of the standards but specifically will cover Engineering 5 ETS1-3, Science 5 SEP1-8, Math 5GB By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement with their own personal STEAM bin, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and excitement for STEAM learning. Students will be able to enjoy creating experiments and exploring STEAM activities once again while also being safe and germ-free.
