Markers are a must have in every Art room experience. We use our markers so much that they are drying out and we need new ones. Students will use markers for numerous projects throughout the school year in various capacities. Using Crayola markers in combination with water is always a wow favorite for my students. They get to learn about the wonder of watercolor! The plethora of colors that Crayola offers greatly enhances lessons when we study the color wheel and color theory. We use black permanent markers with almost every drawing project in the Art room. The effect of precision builds confidence in the students' work. Combining black permanent marker with a glue drawing creates an incredible chalk resist that my older grades love! With these materials, students will have the the opportunity to learn about a wide range of creative techniques.
