This year is a big step for all kids, especially kindergarteners who have been affected by COVID. They have not had the opportunity to play with other children, or attend pre-school. They are behind in so many ways. Young children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. The items that I am requesting will provide students with ways to explore learning using fun hands-on materials for both math and reading. There are many different standards that will be addressed by using the materials requested including RF.K.1d, RF.K.3a, K.CC.B.4a, and K.CC.B.5.

About my class
