Flexible seating provides an opportunity to release energy and increases focus. Students will use the flexible seating options in this project daily in the classroom. All students will benefit from having flexible seating choices. Traditionally, students are expected to be seated during the lessons, but they become tired of sitting for long periods of time. Flexible seating provides an alternative. Students can sit and move around during the lessons and as they complete their activities. For example, using the yoga ball, a student may release extra energy by bouncing on the ball while sitting. This increases his focus.
