My students need hands-on tools to engage them as they are learning to work cooperatively as teams. They did not have these essential times in kindergarten to develop these skills and are is great need of time to work together. STEM activities would help activate their thinking into higher levels of understanding. They vary in learning abilities and these activities would push each of them to grow and progress in their learning. My school is heavy into project based learning and these activities fit the bill! They bring me such happiness to work with them!
