I teach Math at a youth detention center. We are a public high school that contracts with the state to provide a quality education to students that are serving a sentence for juvenile crimes. Our school and the state has provided us with chrome books and supplies to allow the kids to connect even when they are quarantined. I could really use a mobile computer to remote in and be able to provide my students with lessons and math help remotely. A laptop would allow me to remote into my desktop which manages the student chromebooks. Most of the technology in my classroom ha been updated and works very well. When we quarantine the students all live together and they can still use the classroom without me being present since it’s part of their facility. With a mobile way for me to remote in, I could join the classroom with a video feed and provide lessons and assistance to all students in the school.
