Implementing STEAM bins into the classroom would engage students in hands-on learning. Activities for a soft start are included in my Donor's Choose Project. I want students to be engaged in hands-on activities to start the morning. Not only will this promote creativity, but it will also build collaboration among students. Purchasing and furnishing a classroom as a first-year teacher has been extremely challenging. These supplies would be greatly appreciated by my students and me. Social-emotional learning in the midst of a pandemic has been a huge priority in my classroom. The SEL books would be put to use to ensure students are in touch with their emotions. Culture and Diversity books have also been included in the project, I am always looking for ways to incorporate diversity in the classroom, books are perfect to teach kids to celebrate their differences.
