These supplies will aid in allowing Nevada's children to develop social and emotional needs as their word toward academic excellence. The books will allow students to connect with stories about their feelings and difficult experiences. The toys are used as children use play as their main form of communication. These supplies will make it possible for children to learn to calm their bodies and work toward self-regulation. Kids who are able to self-regulate will thrive in the classroom by maintaining focus, concentration, and social control. These tools will allow our children to explore their emotional needs in a safe and creative environment.
