My students enjoy coming to school, but they are easily disengaged. After experiencing kindergarten online, their attention spans are understandably short. My goal is to help them develop their love for learning through hands on research, modeling, and experimentation. The science materials will allow my students to access science standards related to light and sound waves 1-PS4-4 and all first grade engineering and design standards. Not only that, but using the word tiles and writing journals will help make science and social studies standards more accessible for my emergent readers.
