Although my students are very inquisitive, the recent pandemic has made them resistant to working well together. I have included not only STEM manipulatives but also a variety of books to help my students develop their respect for each other's thoughts and suggestions. I have also requested items to assist my students in better understanding their feelings when they become overwhelmed. We will work together to build our classroom culture through STEM challenges throughout the year. My goal is to inspire their creativity, encourage their inquisitiveness while building their respect for each other while meeting the expectations of our learning standards.
