For the very first time, students at PS 49 have access to enrichment clubs. My students chose to be in Jewelry Club. I hope that Jewelry Club will be a space where my students can be themselves and enjoy time with friends outside of their homeroom classes. Working with beads can also eliminate stress and increase energy levels to be better prepared for their learning day. These materials will allow my students to express their creativity and create unique pieces of jewelry they can be proud of. This project will boost student engagement in Jewelry Club and allow for various pieces to be made.

About my class
