The plan is for this item to track the students' progress during a running/walking program. The iPad will be loaded with software that charts their laps that are associated with a physical QR code. More specifically, the students will each be given a physical card with a QR code on it that is connected to the software program that is loaded to the iPad. When the students complete a lap they are to scan their card on the iPad and continue on more laps. The iPad will chart progress/milage and rewards are handed out accordingly. Further, the iPad will also act as an incentive to work for as a learning tool loaded with learning applications. Students can manually enter mileage completed at home as approved by their parent or guardian.
