The magazine subscriptions that I am requesting will benefit all students in the class. All of my students like reading and math. These magazines will teach the students about history, current events and help them with the Common Core Standards. The math magazine allows students to make the connection of math to the real world. I want my students to see the everyday connection to mathematics because I have found that many students do not see why math is important in their regular daily lives.
