For students to conceive and develop new artistic ideas they need supplies that will enrich their creativity. COVID has made it necessary for us to share less and have more individual supplies. In my art classroom, students are taught how to care for art tools and materials and how to use them appropriately and are still given their space and time to express individual creativity. Quality art materials often make the difference between success and failure in how a child perceives their own work. These supplies will allow students variety in how they relate their own personal experiences in art. Students have expressed such excitement at being back in the art classroom. They need this opportunity to be creative in a safe and clean environment that is also inspiring.
