It is quite difficult to teach a class with only so many instruments to spare. There has been many times where some students did not get the opportunity to play an instrument, simply because there was not enough to go around. Considering that each grade level only receives one hour a week in music, it is very important that each child gets to engage with the actual instrument. I have found myself reteaching the children that got left out or had to share. If every child had hands on experience with the instruments to begin with, my music lessons would go a lot smoother. Every child deserves the opportunity to express themselves, and music is a great way to let the soul be heard. The children will be able to show their musical abilities to their parents at the end of the school year. I can already imagine my school's music program being very successful with your help.
