Sometimes high school students become hesitant to be super creative because they worry about their peer reactions. To encourage them to be free and creative, students will be able to design their hats (each has 1 wide-brim and 1 fedora) and the 1st step will be to research Kentucky Derby Hats from past years). Lack of creativity sometimes, unfortunately, equates to a lack of home resources. By providing ribbons and feathers and bows and flowers and fabric and stickers and paint - students will have all of the materials required to complete their hats without asking parents to provide the supplies.

About my class
