NThe donations of this project will energize and engage my students in learning through the use of art. Currently my art supplies are limited and lack the muster to allow students to show off their skills. The donations will also allow my students to use their creative abilities to display their knowledge in concepts that they are learning throughout the school year. One particular project the students create each year, is a poster. The posters has pictures/drawings/designs/words everything that describes them as a person. I display the posters around the classroom. Another project, students will use the art supplies to make their own solar system. They will name their own planets and what each planet would look like. They will have to describe and design what makes up the atmosphere and the topography. For English class the students will design a cover for a book we are reading titled the Tuskegee Airmen. They will use information from the book to design it. If this donation is funded the students will be so excited! They will know that people care enough about them to send them new materials that is definitely needed. Lastly, the donations will help me display their wonderful creations in the classroom.
