These are the SEL competencies (or standards) that will be promoted through this purchase and are approved throughout the entire school district: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, and Responsible Decision-Making My students missed 1/3 of their Kinder and many went full distance-learning in first grade. These items will help students emotionally cope with all of the consequences from this pandemic. Students who have flexible seating have a higher level of engagement, lower levels of anxiety, and become much more focused during work time. Students will be socially distanced while completing their work in a comfortable, flexible seat.
