The materials in my project will go toward promoting the learning and love of reading for my students who were already struggling before the school closures due to Covid-19. They are in desperate need of extra practice with the foundational skills in reading (K.RF.3, 1.RF.3, & 2.RF.3). My students are motivated by being able to write in their own books, reading books at their independent reading levels, and playing educational games. Your donation will give our classroom books that focus on the skills my students are learning so they can feel success in reading. They will be able to take these books home to practice reading with their parents, grandparents, or siblings.
