I am teaching a Chinese immersion class. The students in my class need reading materials in the target language, Chinese besides their text books. The donations to my project will help my students learn Chinese characters, language, culture and history. The donations provide my students some age, interest and language proficiency appropriate books. With the donations, we will be able to have a classroom library with Chinese books. My students will enjoy reading more. I can also read stories to the students in a whole group. Carpet time will be more fun.
