Flexible seating will enable my students to move around more and utilize their kinesthetic learning abilities to retain the information that is presented during class. Research suggests that being able to move around during learning increases blood flow to the brain, core strength, and keeps young minds more alert and focused. My students will be more engaged in active learning if they are able to sit comfortably and use their muscles and body at the same time. Different seating options will enable them to choose what their best learning position is and stay focused.

About my class
