Have you ever seen a blurry black-and-white picture and wondered what exactly it was? Our students do not have access to a color printer, and many times printed materials can not be clear for them. Within our transition program, we have wide range of abilities. Some of our students have visual impairments and/or use alternative means of communication. With a color printer, these students will have the ability for more vibrant learning materials that are much more visually appealing. We would also be able to create visuals, which will lead to endless opportunities for communication! We want our students to be as independent as possible, and because their vocabulary is so limited, it's important to have real-life, colored materials available. Along with the printer, we are asking for a laminator and laminating sheets. This will allow us to protect these printed material to make them last for the students to enjoy and use of longer. Thank you!
